Kings League is seeking a senior Communications Lead based in Milan to lead local media relations and execute the PR plan in alignment with our global strategy. The role covers crisis management, content creation, and stakeholder engagement across media, creators, and partners.

Fluency in Italian and English is required, with a proactive, organized mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This project-based assignment spans all event phases.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in communications, PR, media, or agency work.
• Strong understanding of the content creator / influencer ecosystem and digital communities.
• Proven experience in leading media relations and executing communication strategies.
• Experience in crisis management and handling high-pressure communications situations.

Contract Details

• Based in Milan
• Project-based assignment covering the preparation, execution, and wrap-up of the event
• Availability required during the full event period, including match days, media activities, and key stakeholder engagements

Main Responsabilities

• Lead local media relations and execute the local communications PR plan.
• Implement and track the global communications strategy in alignment with headquarters.
• Manage crisis communications, including execution, tracking, and reporting.
• Create, update, and oversee communication materials (press releases, media kits, presentations).
• Manage relationships with media, content creators, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and activate the content creator ecosystem to strengthen Kings League communications through the community.
• Plan and support PR events and digital content initiatives.
• Collaborate with communications and digital teams on content creation, distribution, and strategic messaging.
• Track, report on, and analyze communication activities and results to inform strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in communications, PR, media, or agency work.
• Strong understanding of the content creator / influencer ecosystem and digital communities.
• Proven experience in leading media relations and executing communication strategies.
• Experience in crisis management and handling high-pressure communications situations.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong interest in media, digital content, and emerging trends.
• Creative mindset with curiosity for current communication and creator-led strategies.
• Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
