Position: Head of Healthcare Communications - Italy

As the Head of Healthcare Communications for Italy, you will operate in an international, cross-functional environment, focusing on external (media) relations, internal communication, and social media. Your role is pivotal in shaping and driving the Company’s reputation in Italy and executing global communication strategies to support business growth. The primary focus will be on the Healthcare division, including Life Science and Electronics sectors.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Developing, leading, and managing corporate and healthcare communications in Italy.
2. Building and maintaining the company's reputation through proactive communication tailored to targeted audiences.
3. Serving as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Managing Director and General Manager of Healthcare in Italy.
4. Providing strategic counsel on reputation management and leading communication initiatives as part of the country council and healthcare leadership team.
5. Enhancing awareness for key brands and new product launches via non-commercial communication strategies.
6. Nurturing relationships with healthcare media, the public, and internal stakeholders.
7. Driving cultural change through collaboration with leadership and employees.
8. Managing issues and crisis communication effectively.
9. Aligning communication efforts with business needs and measuring their impact.
10. Coordinating with regional and global communications teams, including media relations and reputation management.
11. Overseeing a small team, including role definition, responsibilities, budgeting, and agency coordination.

Qualifications include:

1. 8-10+ years of experience in corporate or agency communications, with substantial healthcare sector expertise.
2. Proven media relations skills, especially in healthcare and pharmaceutical product PR.
3. Leadership and management capabilities.
4. Strategic thinking, decision-making, and multi-project management skills.
5. Ability to adapt global campaigns to local contexts.
6. Experience in crisis communication and digital channels.
7. Excellent bilingual proficiency in Italian and English, with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
8. Ability to influence and counsel senior executives effectively.
9. Strong tactical, analytical, and strategic skills with a results-driven approach.
