Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: lead global communication and branding strategies aligned with the Business Unit's goals. Create and oversee the execution of an annual communication plan, including content/campaign development, media relations, and brand positioning.
- Internal Communication Management: ensure that global internal communication strategies and actions are implemented on time and in an effective way. Stay current with trends, technological advancements, and lead the implementation of innovative approaches to enhance ACIM’s communication strategies efforts.
- Media Relations: develop and execute external communication strategies to enhance ACIM’s reputation and promote the company in a positive way to external audiences. Manage the external agency on developing and executing pitching stories, monitoring and securing media coverage while enabling the cascade of it through bi-weekly clipping sent for all leaders.
- Crisis management: establish global guidelines and take an active role in crisis committees, oversee content strategy and development, while monitoring repercussions, to ensure that the company's reputation is consistently reflected in all communication efforts and across all channels.
- Digital: plan and lead digital promotion for the ACIM brand, overseeing the creation of diverse content forms, based on strategic plans and collaboration with Platforms and Regional teams, ensuring engagement with the target audience.
- Brand Management: lead, develop, and implement comprehensive global branding strategies and guidelines for the Nidec ACIM Business Unit, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Platforms, to integrate ACIM branding initiatives into campaigns and promotion materials.
- Stakeholder Engagement: cultivate continuous relationships with key stakeholders, such as: executives, platform and regional focal points, Nidec Corporation Japan
- Team and budget management: giving feedback and relying on defined processes/systems for salary moveme and other people management issues. Related to budget management, manage the proposal and control of resources available for the area.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations plus Master and/or MBA in Business Management or Corporate Communications; A post-graduation degree in Branding will be an advantage.
- Experience in Corporate Communications and Branding
- Proficiency in media relations, crisis communication, and reputation management
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and content management systems
- Fluent English and Italian skills
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to analyze data and develop recommendations
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional / diverse teams and external agencies.
- Strategic long-term thinking and short-term execution capabilities focus on ensuring objectives are met.
