Description

Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Commissioning Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling a range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples, Italy.

Mission

• Plan and manage all Test & Commissioning activities for the project, supporting the Project Engineer to ensure adherence to the project’s strategy, standards, local regulations, and professional standards.
• Coordinate the T&C team.
• Collaborate with the V&V manager to define and implement the V&V strategy on-site.

Accountabilities

• Define the commissioning strategy and develop the project activity schedule, ensuring integration and synchronization with construction activities and the overall project delivery plan.
• Ensure effective integration of commissioning planning and execution with the construction program.
• Guarantee the on-time handover of the project.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, or Information Technology qualifications / university degree or equivalent technical background.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in Italian (mother tongue level).
• Good knowledge of English is a plus.

Education/Qualifications

Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.

Languages

Fluent in English.
