We are seeking a new Commissioning Engineer, and that could be you!

The position

The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for developing project deliverables related to commissioning, ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations, and following established procedures.

This position involves working from our Milan headquarters and on-site as required by the project.

Activities and main responsibilities

You will be expected to:

• Prepare project documents and deliverables such as systems breakdown structure, P&I diagram mark-ups, activity schedules, pre-commissioning manuals, and procedures, in accordance with project requirements;
• Coordinate with the Engineering Department to prepare and update the engineering database both at home office and on-site;
• Analyze Construction Completion Packages (DAC) issued by construction and advise the Construction Manager or Construction Supervisor on their status prior to formal acceptance by the commissioning team;
• Facilitate pre-commissioning activities by checking certificates and punch lists;
• Participate in reviewing and planning the availability of lubricants, chemicals, catalysts, and other products needed for commissioning;
• Organize discipline DAC punch lists, ensure proper documentation, and correct them as needed before forwarding to QC.

• Education: Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering or Technical field, or a technical diploma with relevant commissioning experience;
• Attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently with a focus on timely performance;
• Willingness to be temporarily relocated abroad when required;
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment;
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills;
• Excellent communication and management skills, with high organizational ability;
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
