Job summary

Prima Power GmbH is seeking a Robot Installation Engineer to lead installation, startup, and commissioning of robotic cells and bending systems. You will work on international projects and ensure high-quality performance and safety standards. The role requires frequent travel and close customer collaboration.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with robotic systems, CNC bending machines and programming languages, and communicates effectively in a multinational team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma in Electrics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or similar subject.
• Experience in commissioning systems based on KUKA, FANUC or ABB.
• Knowledge of programming languages relevant to robotics and automation.
• Willingness to travel 60–70% of the time and interface with customers.
• Good communication in an international team and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Install, start-up, test and commission robotic cells and CNC bending machines.
• Lead commissioning activities, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Provide training and interface with customers during installations.
• Travel internationally to customer sites and support upon startup.

Commissioning Engineer – Robotics & Bending Systems

To strengthen our Project Management & Installation team, we are looking for a Robot Installation Engineer who will play a key role in the installation, commissioning and start-up of advanced robotic systems and sheet metal bending solutions worldwide.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, start-up, testing and commissioning of robotic cells, automation systems and CNC sheet metal bending machines, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

The position requires availability to travel approximately 60-70% of the time, both within Italy and internationally.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma in Electrics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or similar subject
• Practical experience in commissioning systems based on at least one of the following brands: KUKA, FANUC, or ABB
• Knowledge of the relevant programming languages
• Knowledge of more than one brand is a plus
• Experience in training customers would be a plus.
• Good communication skills to work effectively in an international team and interface with customers when necessary
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently

Compensation:

Gross annual salary ranging from €30,000 to €35,000, complemented by an attractive benefits package
