We are offering a position at The Goethe Hotel, a 5-star luxury hotel characterized by striking design. For our Restaurant, we are seeking enthusiastic, polite, and guest-oriented Commis de Salle, capable of creating an experience through wine and storytelling about dishes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain high standards of table presentation.
  2. Welcome guests.
  3. Provide attentive and professional service.
  4. Share knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests.
  5. Keep the restaurant area tidy and clean.
  6. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, repeat orders, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests.
  7. Always follow operational procedures, standards, and brand guidelines.
  8. Meet guest expectations.
  9. Respect and adhere to all safety and hygiene policies.
  10. Share information and skills, actively seek and provide feedback.
  11. Anticipate guest needs.
  12. Demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
  13. Have knowledge of à la carte service.
  14. Be able to handle complaints effectively.
  15. Willingness to work late on weekends.
  16. Possess strong knowledge of food and wine, with the ability to provide professional recommendations to guests.
  17. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  18. Extensive experience in the hotel industry.
