Commis Chef at Crazy Pizza

As a Commis Chef, you will be a key member of the kitchen team, working closely with senior chefs to prepare and deliver outstanding culinary creations to our guests.

Your daily responsibilities:

1. Assist the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef in preparing and cooking dishes.
2. Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, and slicing according to recipes and kitchen needs, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
3. Learn and apply basic cooking techniques such as boiling, frying, grilling, and baking to prepare appetizers, pizzas, salads, and desserts.
4. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
5. Help with receiving deliveries, unpacking, and storing ingredients properly.
6. Handle, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment and tools correctly.

Who are you?

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques, especially within Italian or Mediterranean cuisine, is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and pay attention to detail.
• Strong team player with good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
