Job Description:

Novogene is a leading global provider of genomic services and solutions. Leveraging the latest next-generation sequencing (NGS), bioinformatics expertise, and the largest sequencing capacity in the world, Novogene provides unsurpassed data quality and fast turnaround time to all our customers.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Commercial Specialist in the EU, reporting to the Business Operations Department. This role is highly collaborative and requires drive and excellent time management skills. You will work closely with different business sectors and deliver activities to support business growth.

Responsibilities:
  • E-commerce Platform and Document Management:
  • Monitor procurement platforms (e.g., Mepa) for updates on procurement notices and requirements.
  • Download, fill out, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of necessary documents from suppliers.
  • Upload completed documents timely according to procedures.
  • Review and update business documents regularly to maintain current versions.
  • Assist in tender preparation by integrating and filling business documents correctly.
  • Organize and archive tender documents post-submission.
  • Logistics Support: Customer shipment booking services and troubleshooting delivery issues with couriers and customs.
  • Accounts Receivable Support: Invoicing and payment management.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by managers.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Business Management, or related fields; Biology background or relevant experience is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in biotech/medical devices or a regulated environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of tender regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Native or business-level proficiency in Italian.
