Job Description Summary:

The role focus will be to further increase Vector Renewables presence in the Italian and UK markets by selling the Company’s main services and namely:

  • Technical and Commercial Asset Management
  • Digital Asset Management Platform “NUO”
  • Technical Advisory and Engineering & Construction

The selected candidate will be part of the international sales team, will report directly to the company’s Commercial Director and work to support the senior management of the business line in Italy and UK.

Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead, where needed with the support of the Country Managers for Italy and UK, in the origination of commercial opportunities to hit, and possibly exceed, Vector Renewables sales targets in these two countries.
  • Increase Vector Renewables network in Italy and UK identifying new prospects.
  • Proactively organize and be involved in meetings/calls with clients or prospects.
  • Update the commercial interactions of the team in the company CRM.
  • Lead in the preparation of commercial proposals with the support of the various business lines and ensuring that proposals are issued in accordance with the company’s procedures and standards.
  • Maintain an updated log of the commercial proposals issued to clients by using the company CRM and report on it monthly during the Company’s commercial meetings.
  • Report to senior management on sales in Italy/UK and on Italian/UK market news.
  • Work closely with the international sales team to ensure that the Company’s geographic footprint is fully exploited.
  • Support both Italy and UK Country Managers in setting up new services also leveraging the network available in other Vector countries.
  • Support both Italy and UK Country Manager in organizing events and webinars to promote Vector Renewables services and brand in the industry.
  • Manage the process to respond to public tenders for the performance of asset management or technical advisory services.
  • Collect feedback and price benchmarks on rejected proposals and report to senior management to improve service quality and pricing strategy.
  • Engage with the marketing team and the various business lines to create online marketing content and to strengthen Vector Renewables brand in accordance with the company targets.
  • Each semester, support Country Managers for Italy and UK in the collection of the company’s Net Promoter Score.

Desired Requirements:

  • The selected candidate will be a self-starter, fast learner with strong interpersonal skills and a “can do attitude”.
  • She/he will need to be a team player, having to interact with different members of the international commercial team as well as having to balance out sales objectives with business lines workload.
  • Engineering background or previous experience in the renewable energy sector are recommended for the role.
  • Existing network in the Italian renewable energy market.
  • Previous sales or Business Development experience would be a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience.
  • Optimal level of Italian and English (both written and spoken).
