Position purpose:

JTI commercializes in the Italian market as a distributor of JT International SA, a company that operates internationally in the manufacture and sale of smoking tobacco products, inhaling tobacco sticks with no combustion, and related electronic devices.

The Trade Engagement Associate supports all activities related to Trade within the Sales function, assisting the Trade Marketing Manager in defining commercial strategies to maximize the potential of points of sale through projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Trade Marketing Manager in defining commercial strategies and initiatives for maximizing sales potential.
  • Develop trade engagement initiatives, benchmarking market practices, and proposing measures for medium-long term trade partnerships aligned with company strategy and Italian market regulations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams, supporting the implementation of commercial plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives through KPI analysis, reporting results periodically.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Gain knowledge of the market environment and dynamics.
  • Become self-sufficient in supporting Trade Engagement and sales activities, supporting the Commercial Planning and Field Operation teams.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Economics.
  • 1-2 years relevant experience in FMCG marketing, trade marketing, promotion agencies, or sales.
  • Understanding of market dynamics and products.
  • Planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Fluency in English.
