Commercial Office Employee (Import - Export)

We are excited to announce a job opportunity for a Commercial Office Employee who will work in a company specialized in the wholesale marketing, import, export, and distribution of fresh and frozen fish products, based in Casal Palocco, Rome.

If you are a motivated and organized professional with a strong commercial focus and a good understanding of the GDO (Large-Scale Retail Trade) sector, this could be the perfect role for you.

Position Overview

The selected candidate will be a key member of the commercial team, focusing on sales activities and managing relationships with multiple suppliers and clients, both domestic and international. The role involves supporting sales processes, order management, and administrative activities related to the wholesale fish sector.

This is a full-time position with a fixed-term contract starting in September 2025, with the possibility to transition to a permanent role after 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer and supplier orders in the company ERP system.
  • Handle credit notes from suppliers.
  • Maintain compliance with health and regulatory documentation (e.g., ASL requirements).
  • Monitor and update platforms related to purchasing and supplier documentation, including international shipment paperwork.
  • Provide operational support to the sales and purchasing departments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth commercial and administrative workflows.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in economics, business, languages, or a related field.
  • Immediate availability to start work in September 2025.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Previous experience in commercial or sales roles, ideally in B2B and the GDO sector.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a proactive commercial attitude.
  • Proximity to the workplace or the ability to easily and quickly reach it is preferable.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Saturday morning: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, with an indicative range between 25,000 and 35,000 gross per year (RAL).
