Commercial Lead – Data Center Project (Milan, Italy)

Drive commercial delivery on one of Europe’s most high-profile construction programmes.

We’re hiring a Commercial Lead to oversee the cost, contract, and procurement strategy for a hyperscale data center project near Milan. You’ll be the commercial authority on-site, working closely with project leadership, supply chain, and client teams to ensure financial control and risk management across the full lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading commercial delivery and overseeing all financial aspects of the project
• Managing main and subcontractor accounts, including procurement, valuations, payments, and final accounts
• Providing regular commercial reporting and cost forecasts to the senior leadership team
• Supporting contract administration including change control, claims, and variations
• Driving commercial governance and maintaining accurate project documentation
• Working closely with project controls, planning, and construction teams to align cost and delivery strategies

• Experience working with international teams and managing multiple subcontract packages
• EU work eligibility; Italian language is a plus
