About the role:

The Commercial Finance Specialist is expected to own the end-to-end financial processes for selected markets, ensuring proper financial reporting and accuracy in the financial forecasts. You will be an advisor for your markets and take strong personal ownership of achieving required business outcomes and driving best practice in the market in collaboration with the country manager and the local teams. Further, you must ensure that there is transparency towards the Cluster Finance Director, and share knowledge and best practices to drive commercial excellence. You will also work closely with Cluster management and Global Commercial Finance, exchanging valuable insights and becoming a trusted business partner for the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Driving Decisions

• Ensure accuracy in both financial reporting (month-end-closure) and forecasting (quarterly budgeting process).
• Provide financial and commercial support to drive performance and influence delivery of the commercial result
• Provide actionable insight to key forums based on risk, opportunity and sensitivity
• Support the achievement of financial and operational KPIs/drivers
• Provide stakeholders with business case

Projects and Continuous Improvement

• Be part of the teams of projects within Cluster/Market (e.g. investments, new category/channel/product creation and launch), hereunder provide analysis

Qualifications :

• Master’s degree in Finance or similar
• +5 years of experience in a business finance role (FP&A, commercial finance or accounting) with a track record of driving performance, insight and growing business value
• Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry
• Fluency in both Italian and English
• Proficiency in Excel and Power Point
• EPM tools
• Microsoft Office (strong excel skills). Experience with Hyperion (HFM) and or AX is a plus.
