What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • As a Commercial Channels & Hospital Tender Manager you will work closely with Commercial, Supply Chain and Customer Service functions to define & implement the strongest distribution strategy and manage key stakeholders in compliance with specific legislation
  • Definition & implementation of Commercial channel strategies being the point of contact for external stakeholders (e.g. wholesalers, pharmacies, distribution partners)
  • Maximise the hospital performance defining the strategy and managing the partnership with external providers also guaranteeing process simplification/efficiency
  • Be a pro-active Business Partner to the Italian Team and provide decision support to the Portfolio & Commercial Head, the Leadership Team and any other internal stakeholder (Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Service teams)
  • Manage special projects in order to increase efficacy and efficiency of the distribution
  • Support to financial analysis for profitability and margins
  • Forecast, budgets and reporting management
  • Operate in compliance with specific legislations and be always updated on the legal framework (e.g. antitrust)

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Strong and proven experience in multinational in pharma, medical devices or specialized nutrition companies (ideally at least 15 years experience)
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacy and wholesalers' channels, distribution principles (e.g. parallel import, legal discount, allocated share) and the related legislations (e.g. budget laws, Abruzzo decree), tender framework (e.g. d.lgs 36/2023)
  • Pricing and commercial portfolio mix knowledge, commercial attitude, customer orientation and strong negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Presentation and written communication skills
  • Responsiveness and decision making
  • Ability in working in cross-functional team, driving for results and quality orientation
  • Data accuracy and management
  • Time management and priority setting
