Job Description
Your Career
The Commercial Account Executive SMB is a key driver of revenue and growth. As an experienced sales professional, you’ll lead and drive sales engagements, connecting customers with solutions at every stage of threat prevention.
You’ll meet and exceed your quota by crafting strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform. This role offers a unique opportunity for a proactive closer to win market share by displacing competitors.
Your Impact

  • Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles, collaborating with internal teams to serve customers effectively
  • Build long-term relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors using consultative selling skills
  • Create and implement strategic account plans focused on SMB accounts
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks effectively
  • Use a programmatic approach to generate demand, develop, and expand your territory
  • Leverage customer stories to craft compelling value propositions
  • Stay informed on industry trends affecting our products and services
  • Travel within your territory and to company meetings as necessary

Qualifications
Your Experience

  • Knowledge of SaaS architectures, ideally in networking/security; awareness of SASE preferred
  • 5-7 years managing SMB accounts
  • Experience working with channel partners and channel-centric go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to lead all sales cycle aspects, from qualification to closing
  • Proven success in selling complex solutions
  • Excellent time management, autonomy, and self-direction
  • Highly competitive, adaptable, and goal-oriented
  • Active security clearance required
