Job Description
Your Career

The Commercial Account Executive SMB is a key driver of company revenue and growth. As an experienced sales professional, you will lead and drive sales engagements, connecting customers with solutions at every stage of threat prevention.

You will be responsible for exceeding quotas by developing strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform. This role offers a unique opportunity for a proactive closer to win market share by actively displacing competitors.

Your Impact
  • Drive complex sales cycles, collaborating with internal teams to serve customers effectively.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospective clients and executive sponsors using consultative selling skills.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans focused on SMB accounts.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks effectively.
  • Implement demand-generation strategies to expand your territory.
  • Use customer stories to craft compelling value propositions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends affecting our products and services.
  • Travel within your territory and to company meetings as needed.
Qualifications

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience with SaaS architectures, ideally in networking or security.
  • Awareness of SASE technology is preferred.
  • 5-7 years managing SMB accounts.
  • Proven ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships, including with channel partners.
  • Ability to lead all sales cycle aspects, from qualification to closing.
  • Track record of selling complex solutions.
  • Excellent time management, autonomy, and self-direction.
  • Highly competitive, adaptable, and goal-oriented.
  • Active security clearance.
