About the Venture

Waypoint is an AI-powered tax platform helping wealth professionals deliver smarter, faster, and more compliant advice to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). By automating research, modeling, and reporting, we replace fragmented workflows with a conversational AI co-pilot that enables clarity, compliance, and scale. We’re now assembling a founding team to build the future of AI-native wealth advisory.

About the Role

As CEO, you’ll own vision, traction, and execution. You'll be the voice of the customer, the driver of product-market fit, and the architect of our go-to-market strategy.

You’ll lead conversations with private banks, advisors, and early clients, while shaping the broader strategy and culture of the company.

What we’re looking for :

  • Experienced founder or builder capable of operating from zero to one
  • Unique market insight, top 1% skills or other advantage that makes you a suitable and compelling founder
  • Proven ability to build a world-class team, attract customers and investors
  • Evidence of thriving in ambiguous environments and a high aptitude for calculated risks
  • A clear vision for the opportunity (including product direction) - with the drive and expertise to execute on it
  • Big ambition and conviction to completely reimagine the wealth advisory space
  • Deep empathy and motivation to solve customer problems
  • High IQ and EQ - strong opinions loosely held

Responsibilities :

  • Own the vision and commercial roadmap for Waypoint
  • Build and maintain relationships with wealth managers, private banks, and family offices
  • Lead customer development and onboarding of early pilot users
  • Collaborate with CTO to ensure product meets market needs
  • Raise pre-seed / seed investment and lead investor communications
  • Represent Waypoint publicly with press, advisors, and partners

Requirements

  • Deep experience in wealth management, private banking, or tax advisory for HNWIs
  • Strong network in European wealth or financial services ecosystem
  • Track record of owning client relationships and closing complex deals
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action
  • Passionate about reinventing traditional workflows with AI
