Job summary

Crit Experts & Cadres, a leading Italian manufacturer of industrial machinery for the optical sector, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Ponte San Pietro headquarters. You will install and commission machines at customer sites across Europe and train users on operation.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the role requires 5–7 years in field service, fluency in French and English or Italian, CNC experience, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Fluent French and professional-level English or Italian.
• 5 to 7 years of field service or industrial maintenance.
• Proven experience working with CNC machines.
• Good mechanical skills and ability to read technical drawings.
• Proficiency in measurement instruments and standard office software.
• Willingness to travel throughout Europe, approximately 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning our machines at customer sites across Europe.
• Training users on how to operate the equipment.
• Diagnosing breakdowns and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Providing on-site and remote technical support.
• Participating in machine testing and validation activities in collaboration with the production teams.
• Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through technical expertise and customer-service orientation.
