A leading global pharmaceutical organization is seeking a CMO (Supplier Relationship) Manager to oversee and enhance supplier performance. The role involves contract negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and driving cost efficiencies. BioTalent is partnered with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation to support the hire of a CMO (Supplier Relationship) Manager, with expertise across third-party contract management, supplier performance, and cost optimisation within the pharmaceutical industry.
This role offers : Ownership of key supplier relationships from contract negotiation to delivery The chance to drive cost-efficiency and performance improvements across the supply base Cross-functional collaboration with commercial, R&D, BD, and supply chain teams Remote work flexibility with international travel as required
Key Responsibilities : Lead commercial negotiations with CMOs and manage supplier contracts Act as the main point of contact for third-party suppliers through early-stage setup to dossier delivery Monitor supplier performance, gather feedback, and implement improvement plans Identify risks and drive initiatives to reduce COGS and enhance value Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to align on performance and expectations Manage sourcing activities (excluding API)
Key Requirements : Bachelor’s degree and fluency in English Several years of experience in supplier or CMO relationship management within the pharma industry Strong understanding of supply agreements and commercial terms Proactive and commercially minded, with a track record of improving supplier performance
