TheFork is recruiting an Application Security Engineer in Lombardia to join our security team. You will assess the security posture of TheFork's applications and systems and help drive secure coding practices across the development lifecycle.

You’ll work with modern web technologies, perform manual security testing, and contribute to threat research and incident response. A collaborative, diverse environment awaits with a strong emphasis on growth and innovation.

Qualificações

• At least 4+ years of demonstrated manual security testing.
• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience implementing and operating security technologies and processes in a hybrid cloud environment (AWS).
• Strong IT operations and service support processes knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Scan TheFork web applications for vulnerabilities and ensure fixes are implemented.
• Work knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (Node/Typescript).
• Maintain strong IaaS security skills with focus on cloud technologies like AWS.
• Research new security threats, vulnerabilities, and exploit techniques.
• Respond to threats and help implement new security requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight when working with developers.
• Collaborate in a team while maintaining confidentiality of investigation information.
• Leverage OWASP concepts across solutions.
