TheFork is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join our security team. You will evaluate security posture across TheFork's applications and systems, scanning for vulnerabilities and guiding developers to remediate findings.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of manual security testing, strong cryptography and authentication knowledge, and hands-on experience with AWS in a hybrid cloud setup. Join us to help secure a leading restaurant platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of demonstrated manual security testing.
• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience operating security technologies in a hybrid cloud environment (AWS).
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Scan TheFork web applications for vulnerabilities and ensure fixes.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to developers.
• Research new security threats, vulnerabilities, and exploit techniques.
• Respond to threats and help implement new security requirements.
• Work in a team while maintaining confidentiality of investigation information.
• Apply OWASP concepts to multiple solution contexts.
