Job summary

Thribe is seeking a Solution Architect (Azure) in the Busto Arsizio area to own the technical direction of its healthcare software portfolio. The role combines strategy with hands-on coding and prototypes across cloud, desktop and device-connected products.

You will lead design reviews, guide Electron/TypeScript desktop apps and Go/TypeScript backends, and communicate trade-offs to leadership while ensuring GDPR and medical software quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years as an architect on cloud or distributed products.
• Production experience with Azure and cloud-native practices (IaC, CI/CD, observability).
• Hands-on TypeScript and Go; Electron or a similar desktop framework.
• Fluent English and ability to lead through influence rather than authority.

Responsibilities

• Define the target architecture for cloud, desktop and device-connected products with Azure at the core.
• Chair the design review forum and maintain ADRs and reference patterns.
• Guide the Electron/TypeScript desktop apps and the Go/TypeScript backend services.
• Explain trade-offs to senior management in terms of cost, risk and time-to-market.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, GDPR and medical software quality standards; coach engineers and tech leads.

Solution Architect (Azure)

Healthcare technology · Busto Arsizio area (VA) · Hybrid: 2 days on site, 3 remote · Permanent, full-time

Budget up to € 65.000 + bonus.

An established international group in healthcare technology. Its software runs alongside medical devices, in desktop applications used every day by clinicians, and on a cloud platform that is growing fast.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will own the technical direction of the software portfolio and make sure teams in several countries build around one shared architecture. It is a hands-on position: strategy and conversations with leadership, but also prototypes and code reviews.

• Shape the target architecture for cloud, desktop and device-connected products, with Azure at the core
• Chair the design review forum and keep ADRs and reference patterns up to date
• Guide the Electron/TypeScript desktop apps and the Go/TypeScript backend services
