To help drive this effort, Microsoft is investing in the creation of a Customer Success dedicated team that will play a key role in helping Microsoft customers achieve this digital transformation through successful adoption of Microsoft Cloud solutions and Services.

The Customer Success team will drive change management and adoption activities with key business decision makers and IT decision makers, helping reduce implementation risk, driving usage of existing solutions, and identifying opportunities to accelerate the path for customers to realize business value from their investments.

We are looking for a highly motivated Azure Infrastructure Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) in our Global Customer Success organization. This customer-facing role encompasses responsibilities mainly focusing on migrations to the Azure Platform. You will own the Azure infrastructure technical customer engagements, providing expertise including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects, and pilots. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and Developers to drive core Infrastructure solutions and Datacenter migrations. You will implement technical strategies for customer success, drive upskilling initiatives, guide field teams in technical execution, and contribute to IP creation. Your role extends to fostering collaboration across groups for developing customer-ready content. You will act as a linchpin between field teams and the Global Customer Success organization, collaborating closely with the Product group to incorporate the latest advancements, and driving high-priority customer initiatives in collaboration with customers and the Microsoft field. This is a customer-facing role responsible for providing end-to-end technical guidance and expertise. Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g., Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers, Infra as code, AVD, AVS), with broad technical experience and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and cloud trends.
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure deployments and migrations in enterprise environments.
  • Experience in consultative, migration, modernization, and deployment projects, managing stakeholder relationships to achieve consensus.
  • Experience supporting cloud solutions and large migrations for complex enterprise accounts.
  • Proven ability to build deep technical relationships with senior IT executives and grow data services in strategic accounts.
  • Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, and follow-through skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Comfortable presenting to both large and small audiences, including senior executives, IT management, and developers.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer infrastructure, IT, and business priorities to design architectures and solutions (Microsoft and third-party).
  • Create migration and modernization roadmaps, architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring successful deployments and infusing key infrastructure technologies.
  • Develop relationships with key IT decision-makers to promote long-term cloud adoption and advocacy.
  • Maintain and update technical skills, stay informed on market trends, and share insights within the community.
  • Act as a voice of the customer to share insights and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve blockers.
  • Promote Azure platform adoption among customers, partners, and external communities.
  • Assess customer knowledge of Azure and cloud readiness, supporting structured learning plans through partners.
