About Valuematic

Valuematic is building state-of-the-art autoscaling solutions for cloud-native environments. We focus on intelligent, adaptive scaling across AWS, Azure, and GCP, helping engineering teams optimize for both performance and cost—without sacrificing reliability.

We're a small, focused team of engineers working on tough infrastructure problems at scale. If you enjoy automating everything, digging into resource metrics, and shipping resilient systems, you’ll feel right at home.

Role Overview

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you’ll work on the infrastructure powering our autoscaler technology. This includes managing Kubernetes clusters, optimizing cloud environments, and improving CI/CD pipelines for reliable, automated deployments.

You’ll collaborate closely with our backend and AI/ML teams to ensure infrastructure supports dynamic workloads and intelligent autoscaling.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provision and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, GKE)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or equivalent)
  • Implement observability across services (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki)
  • Tune autoscaling configurations and cost/performance trade-offs
  • Improve our internal DevOps practices, deployment strategies, and tooling
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure scalable, cost-efficient systems

Our Stack

  • Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP (multi-cloud focus)
  • Orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Docker
  • Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki
  • Languages: Python, shell, Go (optional, but helpful)

What We’re Looking For

  • Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (multi-cloud is a plus)
  • Proven experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and automated deployment pipelines
  • Working knowledge of autoscaling strategies and cloud cost optimization
  • Familiarity with modern observability tooling
  • Bonus: experience supporting AI/ML pipelines or dynamic workloads

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives
  • Remote-first work environment with flexible hours
  • Opportunity to work on technically challenging problems in cloud infrastructure
  • Direct impact on product direction and technical strategy
  • A fast-paced, no-bureaucracy startup culture

Why Join Valuematic?

  • Develop mission-critical systems for real-time autoscaling
  • Work in a multi-cloud, data-driven environment
  • Growth opportunities in an AI-powered, cloud-native start-up

Interested?

Send us your GitHub/GitLab profile or a few notes about what infrastructure projects you’ve built or managed. We care more about hands-on experience and problem-solving than perfect resumes.
