IT Global Consulting Srl is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to design and implement cloud networking architectures across Azure, AWS and Oracle Cloud, with a focus on hybrid connectivity between on-prem Data Centres and cloud environments.

The role combines strong design skills with hands-on configuration work, including routing, DNS/IPAM, and network segmentation. Travel to Rome sites may be required on a monthly basis.

• Support advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis, working with the Network, Data Centre, Cloud and Security teams.

We are looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to support the Network Services function in the design, implementation and management of network connectivity between Data Centre infrastructure and Cloud environments.

The role will focus mainly on Cloud Networking, particularly in Azure, AWS and Oracle Cloud environments, on the design and implementation of hybrid connectivity, and on routing management between on-premises and Cloud infrastructure.

You will need strong design skills and a strong hands-on component, working directly on network configurations and implementations, from design through to go-live.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Cloud Networking architectures in Azure, AWS and Oracle Cloud environments.

• Logical and physical Cloud / Data Centre connectivity diagrams.
• Configuration plans and implementation documentation.
• Implementation and migration plans, Method of Procedure and rollback plans.
• Test plans, acceptance criteria and validation reports.
• As-built documentation and updates to network documentation.
• Technical reports on activities, issues encountered and their resolution.

Preferred skills

• Knowledge of Data Centre networking, routing and switching.
• Basic knowledge of Cisco Nexus and Cisco ACI, particularly connectivity to external networks and Cloud environments.
• Basic knowledge of WAN/MPLS, SD-WAN and the related routing and interconnection logic.
• Basic knowledge of resilience, redundancy and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.

Preferred certifications

• Oracle Cloud certifications.
• DevNet.
• ITIL.
• Ability to communicate with engineers, Network Services, the Cloud team, Security, operations and other technical stakeholders.
• A pragmatic, problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to work independently on design, configuration and troubleshooting activities.
• Clear technical writing in Italian and English.
• A focus on service, continuity and documentation.
• Willingness to work on site in Rome and at other Italian sites when required.

Location and working arrangement

Hybrid: mainly remote, monthly attendance in Rome.

Pay

Gross annual salary (RAL) between €44,000 and €50,000, set according to seniority, technical autonomy, expertise in the required technologies, certifications, complexity of the client environment and the actual responsibilities of the role.

Total remuneration includes, where provided for the specific position, variable components, MBO, performance bonuses, company benefits, allowances and other pay elements governed by company policies and contractual agreements.
