Job Opportunity: Cloud & AI Engineer - Verona, Italy

We are seeking a talented professional to join a leading Italian company specializing in IT & Infrastructure Services for Consumer, Enterprise, and Business sectors. The role is based in Verona, Italy.

Within the Data Center department and the Engineering team, the selected candidate will design and implement Cloud architectures with systems and applications focused on large-scale Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Main Responsibilities:

1. Design high-performance, scalable system architectures suitable for AI and ML applications.
2. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring effective deployment and operation of ML models.
3. Collaborate with other departments to translate their needs into technical requirements and propose new AI use cases and applications.
4. Ensure compliance with security requirements and handle diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Proven experience as a System Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role focusing on scalable infrastructures.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Good command of the English language.
