Jobtailor in Milano, Italy, is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps professional to design, build, and maintain our cloud stack on Google Cloud Platform. You will own IaC with Terraform, manage serverless architectures, and drive CI/CD pipelines.

You will strengthen observability, security, and disaster recovery plans while collaborating with product and engineering teams to enable new features. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

Competenze

• 3-5 years in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE or similar roles.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform and Terraform.
• Production experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of DB systems (SQL/noSQL, vectorial) and cloud security.
• Fluency in Italian and English; pragmatic ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Own our infrastructure‑as‑code setup (Terraform).
• Manage and optimize our serverless architecture.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Strengthen observability across the stack — monitoring, logging, alerting.
• Harden our security and compliance posture.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to support new features.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, Backend Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid command of infrastructure‑as‑code, especially Terraform.
• Production experience with serverless and event‑driven architectures.
• Knowledge of various DB systems (e.g. SQL/noSQL, vectorial).
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• Comfort with at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation.
• A working understanding of cloud networking, security, and cost management.
• A pragmatic, ownership‑driven mindset: you measure your work by outcomes, not effort.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
