ISS is seeking a Cloud Hosting Engineer (Kubernetes) to implement cloud modernization, migrate workloads to Azure, and manage AKS-based environments in Warsaw, Poland. The role emphasizes automating deployments with PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible while leveraging OpenShift knowledge where helpful.

You will collaborate across teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions and contribute to containerization efforts for VM-based apps.

Competenze

• Hands-on Azure cloud services experience (IaaS, PaaS) and AKS.
• Experience migrating on-prem workloads to Azure and modernizing architectures.
• Automation of deployments/operations using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible; strong Linux administration.

Mansioni

• Move workloads beyond lift-and-shift and support cloud modernization projects.
• Deploy and manage AKS and containerized environments; OpenShift knowledge is a plus.
• Containerize apps on VMs and migrate to Azure PaaS where suitable.
• Work with Linux systems to ensure smooth operation of cloud workloads.
• Collaborate to implement best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and performance in Azure.
• Automate deployments and operations using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, and similar tools.
