Descrizione del lavoro

EnerSys is seeking a senior platform engineer to own the reliability, security and operational maturity of our Azure and Kubernetes platform. You will work with DevOps, architecture, cybersecurity and data/ML teams to build secure cloud infrastructure and support AI workloads in production.

You will influence uptime, performance and cloud security posture across Azure and AKS. You will define how the organization safely runs AI-enabled workloads, evolve reliability‑first and security‑by‑default

Competenze

5+ years in DevOps, SRE, Platform, Cloud or Infra roles with production ownership.
Deep hands‑on Azure experience, especially AKS, Azure Networking, Entra ID, Azure Policy, Monitor and DevOps.
Strong AKS and Kubernetes experience: cluster design, RBAC, autoscaling, private clusters, DNS, ingress.
Security-focused with Defender for Cloud, SIEM/SOAR, Zero Trust, secrets management and supply chain security.
IaC and configuration management with Terraform, Bicep or Pulumi; Helm/Kustomize used.

Mansioni

Design, build and operate secure, highly available Azure cloud architecture for microservices and AI workloads.
Operate production AKS clusters including upgrades, autoscaling, RBAC and network policies.
Embed security into CI/CD pipelines with policy-as-code, gates and audit logging.
Design and operate Kubernetes API gateway and ingress with Apache APISIX or Kong.
Build metrics, logs, traces and alerts with Azure Monitor, Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
Support secure deployment of AI/LLM workloads and govern tool usage.
