Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team in Italy. You will manage Windows-based on‑premises and Microsoft Azure environments, drive Journey to Cloud initiatives, and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures.

You will automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible, support CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver resilient solutions while ensuring performance and security across managed environments.

Competenze

• At least 7 years of experience as a Cloud/Infrastructure engineer or equivalent.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture.
• Experience with Journey to Cloud and Lift & Shift migrations.
• Advanced Windows Server knowledge.
• PowerShell scripting skills.
• IaC experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and automation practices.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or similar tools.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Managing and improving Windows-based on-premises and Microsoft Azure infrastructures
• Participating in Journey to Cloud initiatives and Lift & Shift migration projects
• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures
• Evaluating infrastructure technologies and products based on project requirements
• Automating provisioning and configuration through Infrastructure as Code approaches
• Supporting the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
• Analyzing and resolving complex infrastructure-related issues
• Monitoring performance, availability, and security across managed environments
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to introduce new solutions and services

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
• Proven experience in Journey to Cloud and Lift & Shift migration projects
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server environments
• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and automation practices
• Familiarity with Jenkins or similar automation/orchestration tools
• Experience working within multidisciplinary technical teams
• Good command of the English language
