JOB DESCRIPTION : As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud-based solutions aligned with business goals. You will leverage your AWS expertise, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality to deliver exceptional solutions and services.

Job Duties :

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with development teams to architect and implement solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
  • Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates for provisioning and management.
  • Monitor and optimize AWS resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, including IAM, VPC, and encryption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.
  • Stay updated on AWS services and recommend their adoption.
  • Work with teams to define and implement cloud governance, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Assist in designing hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Certifications : AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent.

Experience :

  • At least 4 years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with cloud security, IAM, VPC, Security Groups.
  • Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, load balancing).
  • Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Elastic Stack, or Prometheus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments is highly desirable.
