JOB PURPOSE
The Cloud Engineer is a key role for our various platforms, tools and systems. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business requirements, user needs, and technical implementation, designing a wide range of standardized, best practice-based integration solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Defining integration strategy: understand the organization's needs and goals in order to develop a strategy for integration, focusing on reuse and standardization.
* Identifying integration tools and technologies: research and recommend appropriate integration tools, technologies and platforms, compatibility with existing systems and scalability.
* Designing integration solutions: Work with development teams to design the solutions following best practices and meeting organization's needs. This may involve creating APIs, middleware, or custom connectors to enable communication between systems.
* Ensuring security and compliance: ensure the proposed solutions meet the security best practices and comply with relevant regulations.
* Supervising: supervise the integration environments setup, to ensure a robust configuration for development and testing phases, even by using automated procedures.
* Innovation: Leverage AI-based tools and frameworks to optimize integration processes, automate workflows, and enhance decision-making capabilities
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
5+ years of experience in similar roles
Degree in Computer Science or similar is a must
Good knowledge and hands-on experience with most common integration patterns
Previous development experience is a must
Experience working with Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
Good knowledge on RESTful paradigm
Knowledge of DevOps methodologies/tools applied to the entire software lifecycle (GitHub, CI/CD, IaC, Test Automation) considered a plus
Fluent in Italian and English
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to prioritize effectively and work across diverse teams
