You will enhance the cloud data infrastructure using AWS and other technologies such as Kubernetes and Terraform. Competenze

  • Prior experience as a Cloud / DevOps / Infrastructure engineer, preferably in AWS and/or GCP (2+ years).
  • Familiar with logging and monitoring technologies.
  • Experience with large scale environments.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration pipelines (CodeBuild, CircleCI, Travis, Jenkins).
  • Experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Spark/Kafka/HDFS/YARN).

As a Cloud Software Engineer you will be responsible for improving our cloud data infrastructure, by designing, building and maintaining a scalable and reliable architecture, capable of supporting both the consumer and the research ecosystem. You’ll be working closely with a team of Cloud, Data, and Software Engineers : our stack features some of the most exciting technologies out there ( Kubernetes , EKS and Terraform , languages like Golang , and a wild number of AWS services).

Your contribution to the mission

In addition, working together with other software engineers you will :

  • Build and maintain a scalable data analysis pipeline
  • Provide data engineers with tools for elaborating large datasets
  • Drive the design, implementation, and adoption of our new data ingestion cloud infrastructure

This is more than just a coding role. You'll have the chance to use your expertise and knowledge to discuss the architecture of the platform we're building, and its evolution.

The ideal candidate for this role
