Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect with a deep understanding of AWS solutions to lead the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring that our digital platforms are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

Reporting to the Head of Cloud, your primary responsibilities will include :

• Design and implement innovative cloud solutions to support enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance our ability to deliver cutting-edge educational solutions.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure and comply with industry and regulatory standards.
• Optimize cloud services for cost, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with IT security to conduct audits and reviews of cloud environments to ensure they adhere to compliance and security policies.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, focused on cloud technologies.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, VPC, Route 53, IAM, and more).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as cloud deployment models and services.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to act swiftly on opportunities, demonstrating a clear bias for action.
• Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in a similar role within the technology or edTech sectors.
• Experience in a small team or startup environment.
• Certifications in AWS Architecture (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional).
