Among the European leaders in Wealth Management and Enterprise Risk Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a Senior Delivery Specialist to join the IT team in its Milan or Bologna office.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate has technical experience and leadership skills to play a key role in managing and coordinating the delivery activities of our software applications.

He/ she will be responsible for supporting internal and external customers in the configuration and integration of our products, contributing to project planning and implementation.

MAIN TASKS:

1. Coordination of Application Maintenance and Delivery activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality and business objectives.
2. Supervision and mentoring of junior and middle seniority team members.
3. Configuration of software products for internal and external customers.
4. Planning and management of project activities, including monitoring, reporting and resource management.
5. Implementation and management of microservice environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
6. Management of relational and NoSQL databases to ensure that applications perform as expected.
7. Implementation of procedures for integrating customer data to and from Prometeia's products in a cloud environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, with evidence of leadership and management of projects of relevant complexity.
2. Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, in particular Azure.
3. Advanced skills with relational databases and NOSQL (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
4. Ability to coordinate and manage technical and cross-functional teams.
5. Experience in planning, managing and delivering IT projects.
6. Knowledge of languages and tools supporting scripting and automation activities (Python, Microsoft PowerShell).

NICE TO HAVE:

1. Experience with Databricks and data analysis tools.
2. Knowledge and/or experience in object-oriented development (OOP).
3. Certifications in Cloud (Azure) and Project Management (PMP, Prince2, Agile) will be considered a plus.
4. Strong experience in managing microservice environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
