Qualifikationen

• Advanced university degree in marine or environmental sciences or related fields.
• Seven years of relevant experience in fisheries, climate change analysis, or related areas.
• Working knowledge of English and an intermediate knowledge of another FAO official language.

Aufgaben

• Plans and leads multidisciplinary teams and participates in cross-divisional committees.
• Develops monitoring, reporting frameworks, tools and databases for programmes.
• Conducts research, data collection, validation and analysis to support policy proposals.
• Responds to country requests with technical advice and guidance.
• Promotes knowledge sharing, capacity development and collaboration with partners.
• Coordinates resource mobilization and contributes to climate change portfolio.
