Societe Generale Securities Services - SGSS in Milan is seeking a Clearing & Settlement Services professional to manage day-to-day securities settlement operations and ensure accurate, timely processing in line with regulatory standards.

The role requires a background in Securities Services, a bachelor’s degree in Economics, and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with fluent Italian (C2) and English (B2) skills.

Responsibilities

Mission:

The Clearing & Settlement Services employee is responsible for managing and executing day-to-day operations related to securities settlement. The role ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of asset trade settlements, delivering high-quality service to SGSS clients while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and internal standards.

• Execute post-trade processing of securities transactions across local and international markets, ensuring timely and accurate settlement
• Monitor and follow up on both internal and external settlement instructions for clients
• Investigate and resolve settlement pending items, breaks, and discrepancies with counterparties, as well as irregularities in coordination with clients’ back and middle offices

Studies & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree Economics or related fields
• Background in Securities Services, with a good understanding of industry standards and operational frameworks
• At least 1 year of proven experience in Securities Services, with sound knowledge of industry regulations and processes

Language skills:

• Excellent command of written and spoken Italian (C2 level), with the ability to communicate fluently and accurately in complex professional contexts
• Upper-intermediate English (B2 level)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & 365 applications
• Knowledge of Securities Operations processes and workflows
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
• Good level of technological literacy and familiarity with operational systems

Salary range directly on the job ad: 35.5k € - 37.5k € / Year
