A leading engineering firm in Italy is seeking a Civil & Structural Materials & Work Quantities Estimating & Management Engineer. This role involves estimating materials for bids and ensuring compliance with standards. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of civil engineering experience, is fluent in English, and is willing to travel for work.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering in plant engineering companies.
• Past experience as an Estimating Engineer or Construction Quantity Surveyor.
• Willingness to travel for short and long periods.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

• Estimate materials and works in bidding stage, on the basis Group Leader's guidelines;
• issue the accounting of materials and works, checking the correct application of method of measurements and Sub-contractor's charges;
• issue the current estimates of materials and works during the engineering stage, on the basis of the data and information conveyed by the Civil Project Leader.
• guarantee the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions;

Personal Attributes

• technical Diploma of Geometra
• minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering in plant engineering companies in the petrochemical, oil & gas, power fields;
• past experience as a Estimating Engineer or Construction Quantity Surveyor;
• past experience at Site;
• fluent English speaker and writer;
• availability to travel for short and long period in Italy and abroad.
