Job Description:

Key activities and responsibilities:

As part of the Civil team, particularly within the Geotechnical Group, the Geotechnical Engineer will work with the Project Civil Leader on the following tasks:

• Prepare specifications for geotechnical and topographical surveys;
• Develop project specifications for earthworks;
• Draft work requisitions for tenders;
• Compile geotechnical interpretative reports;
• Collaborate in identifying external service providers, drawing up technical specifications, evaluating offers, and managing suppliers to ensure seamless integration with the project team;
• Define pile bearing capacities and shallow foundations;
• Study geotechnical survey data;
• Follow up on geotechnical-structural interface engineering;
• Design soil-structure interaction where necessary.

Personal Attributes:

• Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, or a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering;
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering within plant engineering companies in the petrochemical, oil & gas, or power sectors;
• Experience working with international teams across different locations;
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written;
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Plaxis;
• Willingness to relocate abroad for site or office work.
