We are currently seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer Sr - Modular Design, reporting directly to the Civil & Structural Section Head, to join our Engineering team based in Rome, Italy.

About the opportunity:

You will work within the Civil Section, managing proposals, basic engineering, and detailed engineering design. Key interactions include project teams, procurement, construction, and external clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Design calculations for onshore modules, including transport pre-service calculations using STAAD and SACS, joint calculations with IDEA STATICA, sea fastening, and grillage design.
• Support services for procurement such as technical bid evaluation, material requisition, vendor design approval, and subcontractor evaluation.
• Participation in project contract reviews, preparation of technical specifications, and support to construction activities.
• Coordination with external consultants for architectural, soil investigation, and steel fabrication design.

Initially, you will be based at the Technip Paris Operating Center to gain project-specific experience. Subsequently, you will work in Rome, with opportunities for international travel and site visits.

About you:

Master's degree in Civil Engineering, fluent in English, with problem-solving skills, experience with structural design software (STAAD Pro, SACS, IDEA STATICA), and willingness to travel internationally. 2-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
