The Energy unit delivers services to clients globally across sectors including hydropower, nuclear, thermal, waste, renewable generation, and transmission & distribution networks. We provide integrated engineering and project management services across the project lifecycle – from concept and design to construction, operations, decommissioning, or repowering and life extension. Our goal is to support the global energy transition.

Imagine providing civil design support for high-profile projects such as HVDC converter stations, substations, and power tunnels. By applying for this role, you could be involved in such projects. Our teams work on large-scale energy projects, including transmission and distribution, power generation, renewable energy, and nuclear power.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary design team to deliver front-end engineering design (FEED) and detailed design of energy projects. As a graduate engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Producing civil works and building designs (steel or concrete structures) according to Eurocode or BS standards.
• Conducting structural design calculations using software and hand calculations.
• Preparing design calculation reports and technical specifications.
• Creating 2D drawings and 3D BIM models.
• Checking drawings produced by others.
• Participating in design review meetings.
• Conducting site visits, surveys, and meetings as required.
• Performing any other tasks assigned by the project or team lead.

To qualify, you should have less than 12 months of relevant work experience and hold or expect to obtain a degree in:

• Civil Engineering
