Il candidato ideale avrà una laurea in ingegneria civile e almeno 7-10 anni di esperienza, con competenze in software di progettazione e analisi strutturale. Sarà responsabile di fornire supporto tecnico, gestire progetti e garantire la conformità agli standard di qualità e sicurezza.

Saipem is a global leader in engineering and construction for major projects in energy and infrastructure sectors, offshore and onshore. Saipem operates through five business lines: Asset Based Services, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, Robotics & Industrialized Solutions.

As a Civil & Structural Engineer in the ROIS Division, you will work in our Civil/Piping Team to design industrial plants within upstream and downstream projects, as well as green technology plants. Your responsibilities include:

1. Providing technical support during feasibility and bidding phases, including commercial proposal development.
2. Supporting project execution across all phases.
3. Performing technical tasks related to civil & structural engineering, including reinforced concrete, geotechnical matters, piling works, steel structures (including connection details), and structural concrete/steel buildings; preparing technical/design specifications; conducting design, verification, and checking activities to ensure compliance with project requirements regarding budget, schedule, and quality standards.
4. Monitoring and controlling manhour consumption.
5. Managing change orders and scope variances timely.
6. Having knowledge of 3D model environments.
7. Interfacing with other discipline specialists to gather information and coordinate activities.
8. Gathering and providing records of experiences to improve methodologies.

The Civil & Structural Engineer is responsible for ensuring activities comply with QA/QC and HSE standards.

Qualifications:

Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or similar qualification.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Contract Type:

Permanent Contract.

Experience:

Minimum 7-10 years in civil & structural design within an engineering environment, preferably in Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, or green technologies (CO2 capture, plastic recycling, green hydrogen).

Knowledge of Codes and Standards:

Familiarity with international engineering codes, focusing on American, European, and Italian standards.

IT Skills:

Proficiency in design and structural analysis software, data management, programming, and BIM tools, including Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, SAP2000, STAAD, Foundation 3D, Mathcad, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Revit, DOLMEN IS Fuoco, SIOC.

Soft Skills:

• Teamwork, leadership, and cross-functional coordination.
• Problem-solving and multitasking across projects.

Location and Availability:

Milan, with willingness to work abroad.
