Position: Civil & Structural Engineer

In the ROIS Division, you will join our Civil/Piping Team to design industrial plants within upstream and downstream projects, including green technology plants. Your responsibilities include:

1. Providing technical support during feasibility and bidding phases, including commercial proposal development.
2. Offering technical support during project execution across all phases.
3. Performing technical tasks related to civil & structural engineering, such as reinforced concrete, geotechnical matters, piling works, steel structures (including connection details), and structural concrete/steel buildings; preparing technical/design specifications; conducting design, verification, and checking activities to ensure compliance with project requirements regarding budget, schedule, and quality standards.
4. Monitoring and controlling manhour consumption.
5. Managing change orders and scope variances in a timely manner.
6. Possessing knowledge of 3D modeling environments.
7. Coordinating with other discipline specialists to gather information and synchronize activities.
8. Recording and sharing experiences to improve work methodologies.

The Civil & Structural Engineer is responsible for executing activities within their scope, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or a similar qualification.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Permanent contract.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in civil & structural design within an engineering environment, preferably in Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, or green technology sectors (e.g., CO2 capture, plastic recycling, green hydrogen).
• Knowledge of international engineering codes and standards, focusing on American and European (Italian) standards.
• IT skills related to structural design, analysis, data management, programming, and BIM tools such as Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, SAP2000, STAAD, Foundation 3D, Mathcad, Revit, Navisworks, DOLMEN, and CIVIL 3D.

Soft Skills:

• Teamwork, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities across projects.

Location:

Milan, with availability to work abroad.
