Job summary

Tecnimont, the MAIRE Group’s flagship E&C company, seeks a Civil & Structural Concrete Engineer for our Catania team. You will deliver reinforced and precast concrete designs, ensure quality, and collaborate with global project leaders to coordinate multidisciplinary efforts.

Ideal candidates have 2–6 years in concrete design, strong REVIT/Navisworks skills, and English proficiency. Willingness to travel up to 3 months and contribute to sustainable plant engineering initiatives is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 2–6 years of concrete design experience, preferably in plant engineering (petrochemical/oil & gas/power).
• Strong knowledge of European and international codes/standards.
• Proficiency with Autodesk REVIT modelling.
• Experience with Navisworks and BIM collaboration tools (ACC/BIM360).
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Willingness to travel for short and long periods (up to 3 months).
• Knowledge of FEM software such as SAP2000/STAAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of concrete design deliverables and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with Project Leaders and Concrete Specialists across locations.
• Prepare design calculations, reports, and specifications for reinforced/precast concrete.
• Integrate concrete work design with project data from other disciplines.
• Review and approve vendor construction design documents.
• Support construction and site teams as needed.
• Provide technical training and share knowledge across Tecnimont Group.
• Stay updated on discipline improvements and innovations.
