Civil Engineer (Expansion Project)

What you can expect:

1. Manage design for the terminal expansion
2. Carry out technical and feasibility studies: preliminary, detailed and execution design, including preparation and submission of bill of quantities and pricing schedules for structures and services
3. Develop construction projects from design up to construction and delivery to the operational team
4. Optimize construction projects in terms of planning, execution and cost control
5. Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data and reports
6. Regular update of construction schedule with project control team highlighting potential criticalities in the works execution
7. Identify and prevent potential breaches of the agreement for construction and supply contracts

What you bring to the table:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering with Civil Engineer license
2. Good English and Italian (German is a plus)
3. Experience (5+ years) in civil engineering (design, implementation, supervision, etc.) with projects exceeding 50 Million
4. Experience (5+ years) formal / technical documents & regulatory (permit) approvals
5. Very good command of AutoCAD
6. Thorough understanding of civil & safety guidelines and international practices
7. Able to multi-task several ongoing construction projects
8. Professional with a hands-on mentality, task-oriented attitude in order to meet the expected project milestones
9. Ability to network and manage across internal and external technical offices as well as internal and external stakeholders

The ideal candidate would have a valid EU working permit and would be willing to relocate to Trieste on short notice.
