The role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the City Manager is a unique opportunity to join the Italian Commercial team.

You will build relationships with restaurant partners, enhance our customer proposition, and identify growth opportunities.

This role suits someone who enjoys relationship building and data-driven insights.

Location : Padova, Verona, or nearby cities.

What you'll do :

• Become the local expert in your city(s), understanding the restaurant industry and representing Deliveroo locally.
• Use data insights to improve customer experience neighborhood by neighborhood.
• Manage top restaurant partners, leading negotiations and optimizing performance for growth.
• Coordinate with the local account manager to promote local hero brands.
• Develop and execute city signing strategies for success.
• Own the city’s P&L, understanding KPIs and influencing key metrics.
• Map out local sales strategies, identifying gaps and focus areas.
• Enhance our local offerings through knowledge of the area, optimizing restaurant operations and strategy planning.
• Maximize marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation.

Requirements :

• At least 4 years of experience in account management, sales, or strategy roles.
• Results-oriented with a focus on targets.
• Understanding and managing P&L.
• Business acumen and data-driven approach.
• Ability to work both in the field (2-3 days / week) and remotely.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills via face-to-face, phone, or email.
