The role
Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the City Manager is a unique opportunity to join the Italian Commercial team.
You will build relationships with restaurant partners in your area, enhance our customer proposition, and identify growth opportunities.
This role suits someone who enjoys relationship building and data-driven insights to guide growth.
You will be based in Bologna or nearby cities.

What you'll do:

• Be the local expert for your city (or cities), understanding the restaurant industry and representing Deliveroo locally.
• Analyze data to improve our customer offering neighborhood by neighborhood.
• Manage top restaurant partners, lead negotiations, and optimize partner performance for growth.
• Coordinate and support local account managers to promote local hero brands.
• Develop and execute city signing-up strategies for success.
• Own the City/Cities P&L, understanding key KPIs and influencing them.
• Map out local sales strategies, identifying gaps and focus areas.
• Enhance our local customer offering through knowledge of the area, improving restaurant selection and operations, and collaborating with regional teams.
• Maximize marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in account/relationship management, sales, or strategy roles.
• Results-driven and target-oriented.
• Understanding and managing P&L.
• Business acumen and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to work both in the field (2-3 days/week) and from the office or home.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, face-to-face, phone, or email.
