FAO seeks a Chinese Language Workflow Coordinator to ensure accurate, consistent Chinese outputs across FAO multilingual documents. The consultant will coordinate translation workflows, manage terminology, support interpretation services, and liaise with internal teams and external vendors to maintain quality standards.

The role emphasizes linguistic expertise, workflow coordination, and knowledge sharing to continuously improve FAO language services in a global context.

Competenze

• Advanced degree in interpreting/translation/terminology.
• At least five years of relevant experience.
• Chinese mother tongue with excellent English.
• Knowledge of another FAO language is an asset.

Mansioni

• Oversee translation QA for English-to-Chinese FAO documents, ensuring accuracy and style compliance.
• Coordinate Chinese translation workflows and monitor external translation assignments.
• Undertake language-related tasks and initiatives to improve translation quality.
