WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
This function is located within a NSC and aims to develop new business opportunities in a defined product category, region, or for a specific customer range.
- Actively develop the customer portfolio by identifying opportunities, supporting customers within the defined range to create projects, and following them through to completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Detect customer needs and develop solution approaches and sales strategies by adapting existing products.
- Conduct customer visits and provide technical advice and support on system design.
- Create awareness for PAPAEU products within the defined range, including managing relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Support Product Marketing by providing market information and knowledge, and creating reports if required.
- Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Create monthly forecasts and reports on project acquisition, open projects, sales results, and other relevant KPIs.
- Participate in trade fairs and events to support the above responsibilities.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Relevant University Degree or equivalent practical and vocational knowledge and experience.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in the field.
- Experience in Business Development in B2B is essential.
- Experience in project business (spec-in business) and dealing with large customers and key accounts.
- Proficient understanding of processes, technologies, products, or other relevant fields.
- Effective utilization of planning, analytical, or conceptual principles and techniques.
- Understanding and applying principles of effective project management.
- Ability to analyze financial or technical data to support management decisions.
- Understanding of legislation and law regulations relevant to the business.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent understanding of TCO and ROI to sell based on value.
- Hunter mentality and willingness to travel.
- Ability to work under stress.
